The Stars Of Ye Hai Mohabbatein Shining Bright Scoring A Century

The entire team of Star Plus’ popular show Ye Hai Mohabbatein is elated on completing their successful 100 episodes.

Hard work always pays off! This goes for the team of Balaji Telefilms’ popular show Ye Hai Mohabbatein which is successfully ruling the audiences heart at the time slot of 11 PM. The team has successfully completed its 100 episodes yesterday. The team could not celebrate their joyous moment yesterday because of their hectic shooting schedule but very soon the team will be having a small celebration on the sets for this achievement.

We spoke to the stars of the show to know more about their association with the show. Let’s hear what they said:

Divyanka Tripathy who plays Ishita Raman Bhalla – “The journey has been superb so far. When we started off with the show, we didn’t even think that we will get this achievement with this time slot. We just thought of doing our best but the show is giving us an amazing output and we are really thankful to our audience that they are taking out some time of their schedule to watch our show at 11 PM. We are now in the top 4 shows in just 100 episodes and we have heard that we are getting No. 1 ratings from abroad too. It’s amazing! With the current response, I am now keeping myself ready for the future and I have decided to keep me and my unit’s spirit high. I won’t let anybody down for sure. We will work even better.”

Talking about her amazing on-screen chemistry with Karan Patel, Divyanka further added, “People just love romance and I don’t know how people love this couple so much who are shown to be always at loggerheads in the show. They love our chemistry and it’s overwhelming to see their affection towards our show. We never expected that people will like it so much. We just do it wholeheartedly. People are now actually getting confused seeing our chemistry and ask us that are we seeing each other (laughs)? I just say no way; we are just not alike. He is a very nice person and the best part of our chemistry is that we both are very dedicated when it comes to acting. We are so involved in the character that is what people see on-screen. Whatever the scene is whether it is our romance, fights or playing parents on-screen, we co-ordinate with each other and we do it with our heart and that is what people see on-screen.”

Karan Patel who essays the character of Raman Bhalla – “It’s been a wonderful journey so far which I will cherish throughout my life. Everybody has worked so hard and it’s because of our efforts and hard work only that we are doing well even if the show airs at 11 PM slot. I would like to thank everybody for liking our show and our chemistry.”

Neena Kulkarni who plays Mrs. Iyer – “It has been a lovely experience so far and I am feeling delightful to be a part of the show. The cast and crew are so amazing to work with. It’s a great fun and I am enjoying it. The credit goes to Ekta that the show is doing so well in the 11 PM slot. Kudos to Ekta Kapoor for choosing this time slot which has proved to be a perfect choice.”

Mihika Verma who essays the character of Mihika (Ishita’s younger sister) – “We are very happy that our show has completed 100 episodes. It’s very gratifying; we did have put in a lot of hard work and also had the patience of working for long hours. We just hope that it will go on and on. We will be celebrating together tomorrow.”

Raj Singh Arora, who is seen as Mihir (Raman’s friend) – “It’s been a fantastic journey so far. I am extremely proud and satisfied to be a part of one of India’s most progressive, modern and probably the most loved show of Indian TV currently and hats off to the Rock star producer Ekta Kapoor. The beauty of the show is that even at the 11 PM time slot, it’s doing so well. This show has kicked the doors wide open by surpassing the other shows of prime time daily because the content of the show is so good. I am so proud of doing this show after such a long time. Ekta Kapoor is a genius as the show is doing tremendously well and also is head of the other shows of the other channels as well as the existing channel whose time slots are from 9.30 to 10.30.”

Teena Chopra’s Shoddy Look In Ek Haseena Thi!

We reveal the first look of Teena Chopra who will be seen playing the character of Payal in Star Plus’ upcoming show Ek Haseena Thi.
Actress Teena Chopra who will soon be seen playing the character of Payal in Cinevistaas’ upcoming show Ek Haseena Thi on Star Plus, has got a very different look as per the demand of her character. Nothing is going well in Payal’s life and she has become like a patient who is unhappy with her life. Her look is very simple with a dark make up to suit her character.

Teena and Payal are very different from each other when it comes to their nature or looks. For essaying the character of Payal, Teena had to sacrifice her real life interests to get herself involved into the character well.

We spoke to Teena to know more about it and her look in the show.

Describing her look, Teena told us, “It’s a very shoddy look. I can’t tell how much I love my nails but my director told me that I have to cut my nails for my character. So unwillingly I had to cut it and I can’t even apply nail paints now. Payal is a very sad girl and so does her look. Payal is not at all lively whereas I am a very lively and energetic in real. It’s a very simple look given to me in the show. I do have applied a very dark make up with dark circles for my role whereas in real I don’t have any dark circles. That’s all required for my character so I take it positively and do it.”

She further added, “It’s a thriller show and not a saas bahu drama. I will be seen in a very different avatar rather than being seen in heavy fancy dresses. I will even hardly be seen in Salwar Kameez; I will be seen totally in a different avatar.”

Teena is sharing a very good chemistry with Sanjeeda Shaikh who is playing her sister on-screen. Speaking about the same, she shared, “I have a very good chemistry with Sanjeeda on-screen as well as off-screen. She is a very good actress, very helpful, caring and loving.”

We asked Teena whether she would love experimenting her character’s look later on and whether she is enjoying her current look or not. She happily told us, “Yes, I would love to and I will go for it. Currently I am fine with my look. Its very different from all others and my look shows the reality of Payal.”
